January is usually a calm and quiet month for us, everyone's getting ready to go back to school and work and getting back into a good routine after the December festivities. Just a quick snapshot of a few of January's sessions.

How does that saying go? Rather late than never...Here we are at the end of March 2024 and now is the time to post these photos...December as always is a rather busy time of the year and Dec 2023 was no different, sessions ranged from a quick trip to Albany for a few days of food photography to local bridal showers, studio and outdoor location sessions. We're not complaining, we love getting out there and being creative.

People will be people

This is something that I don't do very often, in fact I didn't do any for at least 8 years now. Here's how general public react on something that they are not even entitled to! This was a model call for a little cherub to represent my brand with nothing more than a few photo session over 6-7 months and a few free digital images included for parents time. No one has lost $1000s of Dollars worth of product due to not winning, and why does that even matter, before this model call no one would have had anything at all unless they paid for it.

I find the mentallity of "entitled" people in the current day and age very disturbing. We ought to stand back and have a look at ourselves and why we've become so "entitled".

June 2023 at a glance

The month of June was busy considering it's winter and raining and miserable weather. Thanks to those who braved it and booked a session, at least the studio is heated to make things a bit more bearable.

We've had Family and newborn sessions, sibling sessions and some Uber Eats Sessions as well as marketing photos for the local busses (photos not included) and headshots for a local real estate company (photos not included). All in all June was relatively busy, I've kept the current studio special open for anyone still keen to book and get some updated family pics.

the month of May 2023 in a nutshell

So I've decided to group photos and edited work together for each month in a single blog post instead of cluttering the blog with each and every photo of each and every session

For May I've had some private real estate photography jobs (on top of my Realtor work), Headshots for some of the locals companies, a newborn session for a family who has an overseas grandparent visiting them, a family maternity session, an outdoor family session with vistiing overseas parents (this may have been earlier this year but only got around to the editing this month), a beautiful mumma and her 3 boys (thanks for your continued support throughout the years)
